PTA MEMBERSHIP & FALL DOG DOLLARS DONATION CAMPAIGN
Dear Pioneer Parents and Community,
WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL! On behalf of the Pioneer PTA Executive Board, I want to extend a warm welcome back our returning families and a special welcome to our new Pioneer Families!
Pioneer Elementary is such a special community -- kind, caring, and spirited -- created by our dedicated teachers and staff, amazing students and of course, a very supportive and engaged parent community. My name is Linda Lingbloom and I am so honored to be returning as your PTA President for this upcoming school year. I want to also recognize the dedicated group of Pioneer parents serving on the 2019-2020 PTA Executive Board: Nicole Gleason, Executive Vice President; Britt Petrotta, Treasurer; Autumn Peters, Secretary; Aimee Feinberg, Enrichment VP; Doug Sulenta, Membership VP; Elizabeth Knudsen, Communications VP; and, Kati Rose, Auditor.
It is my goal to provide a very open and inviting PTA, so I encourage you to be active in any way that fits your schedule. PTA involvement is a great way to connect with other families, share your voice, and support the school. Please take a moment to review this Welcome Packet with membership and volunteer information. These forms will be collected at Paperless Parade on Monday, August 26 or you can submit them to the school office at the start of the school year. I encourage you to visit our website www.pioneerelementarypta.com where there is an incredible amount of helpful information on PTA events and student activities.
The PTA is truly a dynamic collaboration of parents, teachers, and staff working to provide enrichment opportunities for all our TK-6th grade students. It is my hope that you will support our PTA-sponsored fundraisers throughout the school year. Last year, the PTA used fundraising dollars to support our teachers and pay for important school site activities and enrichment programs. The following is a snapshot of our 2018-19 Budget:
